hi i am currently working on another incarnation of this building on the corner of hay lane which was formerly yates wine lodge, before that a furniture shop. if anyone knows any history of this building it would be gratefully recieved. i have found one photo/sketch of the building , any others out there. on one of the many shop faciers uncovered i believe are the words anslows ring any bells. cheers rich

It was Anslows furnishings for many years before they relocated to Hales Street. It was then occupied by Waring and Gillow furnishings. A drinks license wasn't granted until 1995.
